二、 Presentation
1. 揭示话题,预测内容
教师呈现Peter打电话的图片(女孩部分被遮挡),引导学生猜Peter在给谁打电话。学生尝试猜测后,教师播放对话中前三行。关注打电话的语言:This is… “So Peter is talking on the phone.” 让学生说一说,Peter打电话时对方可能在做什么?
【设计意图】:通过观察图片,启发学生利用已有的词汇预测对话内容,激活旧知,为学习对话奠定基础。
2. 带问题听完整对话 (问题:Who are they talking about?), 教师反馈学生从对话中听到的人物。
3. 匹配练习
1) 教师用课件出示匹配练习,讲解要求。→
2) 将练习纸发给学生,告诉学生:“Now listen to the dialog again, after that, please match.”完整播放对话。
3) 用课件反馈该练习完成情况,学生说出单词,教师说句子展示答案。
4. 理解对话结尾
请学生打开书看对话文本,教师提示学生关注对话结尾。教师提问“What is Peter doing? Does Peter like the book? Does Ann want to know about the book?” 引导学生理解interesting, tell me about it. 教师带读,学生跟读。
【设计意图】:通过听录音,看动画,匹配练习等方式,带领学生学习对话, 内化文本信息。
三、 Practice
1. 跟读对话。
2. 多种形式朗读对话。(自读、师生分角色读,小组读,男女生分组读等)
【设计意图】:通过跟读、朗读等多种练习方式强化学生对对话内容的理解和对文本信息的记忆,从而逐步掌握功能句型的使用方法。
3. Listen and Check 让学生快速观察该部分的图片,之后教师播放录音,学生完成练习。核对答案时着重观察d, h图,教师提问“Who can dance? (请一名主动举手的学生起立) Dance, please! Look! He/She is dancing.” 以同样方法处理h图中jumping意义。
【设计意图】:通过听力练习,为学生提供更多动词现在分词的表达形式。
4. Doll house 活动
教师出示Dollhouse图片。让学生将给定的单词卡片,按自己意愿,有选择地贴入房间中。卡片包括两组词:
Mom, Dad, I, grandmother, grandfather, sister, brother
doing homework, watching TV, reading a storybook, drawing a picture, sleeping, eating, cooking, washing, painting
1)教师和一名学生作示范,让学生提问“What is your mom doing?” 教师回答“She is watching TV in the living room.” 等信息丰富的句子。
2)学生两人一组,进行对话练习。教师巡视,鼓励学生说出完整的句子,如:What’s your mom doing? She is watching TV in the living room.
【设计意图】:利用有信息差的操练活动,激发学生兴趣,内化句型,为下面的拟真实情景输出活动作好准备。
四、 Production
1. 教师利用课件创设一个聚会情境。“Peter is having a birthday party now. He invited Mary, Tommy, David, Lily and youto his party. Peter’s family are there, too. You really want to go, but you can’t, because you are sick. You are calling Peter. You want to know what they are doing now. What questions will you ask?” 启发学生自由提问,教师回答。
2. 学生两人一组合作,创编电话情景对话:
一人表演患病的同学,一人表演Peter, 你要了解Peter 家人正在做的事情,在此基础上展开对话,鼓励学生扩展语言。教师巡视,根据学生需求提供语言支持。
3. 选择一组学生展示。
【设计意图】:为学生创造相对真实的情境,鼓励学生联系生活经验,运用功能句型进行交流。
五、 Homework
1. 熟读对话。
2. 观察家人的日常活动,尝试用所学句型进行描述。
