四、 预期效益
1. 深入而系统地整理原住民传统山林河海智慧，融入本地环境伦理的建构
2. 出版中英文《部落游学手册》将台湾生态自然与人文歷史分享国际社会
3. 长期培育参与国际环境保护和生态关怀领域的人才
4. 引介联合国发起，与永续发展相关的价值观「地球宪章」给国人，让台
湾在重要国际环保运动中不缺席，甚而成为积极的参与者。
五、 过去执行成果
国际交流
1999邀请国际环境伦理学会会长柯倍德教授（Dr. J. Baird Callicott）来台主讲「自然保育与原住民文化」、「环境伦理研习」、「定根台湾看顾大地－跨世纪土地伦理国际研讨会」等三场研讨会
2000再度邀请Dr. Callicott来台，举办「生物多样性面面观」、「东西生态哲学思想对谈」、「倾听台湾山林的心声」、「环境伦理与生物多样性」、「土地伦理对基督教信仰的挑战」、「原住民狩猎面面观」、《沙郡年记》读书会学员座谈、「环境伦理讲座」、「迈向台湾环境伦理的建构」、「读者与作者的对话」、「环境伦理与基督教信仰」座谈／研讨会
20**於美国夏威夷参加「生物多样性保育」研讨会；於澳洲布里斯本参加「永续未来－20**亚太地区地球宪章会议」
20**邀请澳洲文兰溪教授（Dr. Nancy Victorian-Vangerud）前来主持本会所规划的「联合国地球宪章教育推广宣导活动」，发表「环境意识啟蒙经典作品──瑞秋.卡森《寂静的春天》出版40週年的回顾与展望」；并举办「生态灵修──人与土地、海洋的对话」研讨会。另於英国伦敦参加「生物多样性保育」研讨会
