Listening Cassette Lesson 54. Name the four characters in the dialogue for the Ss- Mr. Wang, Jim, Li Ming, and Lucy. Play the tape twice. The Ss listen and then answer the questions in Wb Lesson 54, Ex1.

Assign Ex.2and 3 as homework.

本设计根据教学内容的需要把两课内容结合起来进行教学，整体上比较完整。本设计导入阶段通过复习前一单元颜色词汇，过渡到谈论服装的颜色，这样自然进入本节课内容的教学。由于教材内容大都是学生较熟悉的，每个步骤的设计主要体现学生的自主活动，在活动中自然地完成语言的掌握。

Teaching aims:
掌握句型：Whose...is this? Whose ...are these? It's hers. They're ours.
掌握名词物主代词的复数形式ours, theirs, yours。
Difficult points:
区别使用形容词性物主代词和名词性物主代词

Step 1 Revision
Revise my mine your yours his his her hers our you’re their
通过问学生所拥有的物品来复习物主代词的用法。
Step 2 Presentation
1．教师展示一件羊色衫和一件外衣说：
Whose is this sweater? It’s my sweater. It’s mine.
Whose coat is this? It’s my coat. It’s mine.
教师指出：Whose is this…? T Whose… is this? 表达的意思相同；my sweater 可以用名词性物主代词mine代替。
2..指着两个或三个人的桌子说：This is their desk. It's theirs.
接着展示大屏幕，出现了这样一个画面.
指着那只猫问Whose cat is this?
自己回答theirs. 教学theirs pron.他们. 她们.它们(出示单词卡)
Say This is our classroom. It's ours. Ask Whose classroom is this? It's ours. (自问自答)
Step 3 Drill
让学生看大屏幕上的彩图，两个小朋友手里拿着可以用鼠标点击, 专换的sweater/coat/skirt/hat图画的下面写上可以变化的your/his/her/Jim's/Kate's用来替换分别让两个学生为A和B操纵, 再把全班分成两个大组,一半为A,一半为B(或按男、 女生分)
A: Who's sweater is this?
B: It's your sweater. It's yours.
(屏幕上显示coat, his 时A问)
A: Whose coat is this?
B: It's his coat. It's his.
利用挂在黑板前晾衣绳上的衣服进行操练，两人一组练习。
Step 4 Listen and read
Play the tape for the students to listen.
找两名学生同教师一起表演,教师扮演Miss Gao学生A为Han Mei,学生B为Twins.
T: Whose sweaters are these?(教师拿着预先备好的 两件毛衣)
A: Theirs, I think.(A指着B说)
T: They're the twin's sweaters?(老师感到很惊奇)
A: Yes.(A说是的)
T: Thank you. Han Mei.
T: Lucy and Lily.come here, please. Are these sweaters yours? (教师拿着毛衣问)
B: Yes, they're ours.
T: Here you are . You must look after your clothes.
B: Yes, thank you. Miss Gao.
再找二至三组学生(每组三名) 模仿教师刚才的动作,表演对话.
Step 5 Game
Play Hu guessing game. Who's he/she?
(对猜对的同学进行奖励)教师先示范
I have a friend. She's a Chinese girl. She's in a red blouse, a blue skirt and black shoes. Who is she?
S1:She is x x .
T: Very clever. Thank you. sit down, please. Who can try? ( 让三、四同学起来描绘,让其它同学猜)
